Garlic Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Elevate your side dish game with our irresistible Garlic Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts, a delectable combination of tender Brussels sprouts, roasted to perfection and tossed in a flavorful blend of garlic, Parmesan cheese, and aromatic herbs. Ingredients:

- 500g Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
- Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.

3. Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, cut side down.

4. Roast the Brussels sprouts in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. Be sure to stir or shake the pan halfway through the roasting time to ensure even cooking.

5. Once roasted to perfection, remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and transfer them to a serving platter.

6. Garnish the Garlic Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts with chopped fresh parsley, if desired, for a pop of colour and freshness.

7. Serve the roasted Brussels sprouts hot, alongside your favourite main dishes, or as a tasty appetiser. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the Brussels sprouts just before serving for a burst of citrusy flavour, if desired.
